Your body’s natural reactions to heat can reduce your comfort,
safety, health, and performance. Heat stress is greatest when you
are working hard and the weather is hot, but it builds up even under
ordinary conditions and affects most people before they notice. Studies
of workers who face risks from high heat have provided knowledge that
could help us.

While some tasks performed are inherently designed to be performed
alone, using landscaping equipment or tractor operation for example,
should be done with others to improve the level of personal safety.
