Continuing
Education Requirement
Every person applying for or renewing a farm labor contractor (FLC) license
in California must take at least eight hours of relevant, educational
classes each year (California Labor Code § 1684(b)(2)). Only classes approved
by the state labor commissioner may be taken to meet this requirement.

The Farm Labor Contractor
Education Institute, sponsored by the Farm Employers Labor
Service, AgSafe; Center for Agricultural Business, California State University
- Fresno, University of California Cooperative Extension and Pan American
Underwriters, Inc. has developed an eight-hour course that has
been approved by State Labor Commissioner. The classes will be presented
by industry experts who have been approved by DLSE to present specific
topics. Participants attending the classes will receive a certificate

Registration
Fees and Information
The cost to attend a class is $200 per person (member of
contributing organization $180, walk-in $220) for members of sponsoring
organizations (see above information for sponsoring organizations). You
must register at least five (5) working days prior to the class in order
to reserve your seat in the class. To register, please complete the registration form (with
your check made payable to CSU, Fresno Foundation) and mail or fax to
CSU. Sorry, NO credit cards.
Registration fees include course
materials, lunch, refreshment breaks and certificate. Seating is limited
and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Policy
No refunds will be issued. If you are unable to attend the class you have
registered for you may attend another session. Advance notification is
requested to reschedule to attend a different class.

Educacional Contratistas de Trabajadores del Campo
Sobre la Clase
Toda persona que solicita o que esta renovando una licencia de contratista
de trabajadores del campo (FLC) en California debe tomar por lo menos
ocho horas de clases educacionales pertinentes cada año (Código Laboral
de California 1684(b)(2)). Para cumplir con este requisito, pueden tomarse
clases solamente aprobadas por el comisionado agrícola estatal.
El Instituto
Educacional de Contratistas de Trabajadores del Campo ofrece un curso
de ocho horas que ha sido aprobado por el Comisionado Agrícola del Estado.

para Contratistas de Trabajadores del Campo.
Costo para Asistir
El costo para asistir a la clase es de $155 por persona para miembros
de las organizaciones contribuyentes (vea la lista) La tarifa regular
es de $195 por persona para los no-miembros.
Política
de Cancelación No se emitirá ningún reembolso. Si usted no
puede asistir a la clase a la que usted se ha registrado, puede asistir
a otra sesión. Se le pide aviso de antemano para re-programar la asistencia
